Rotherhithe Street
Re: Rotherhithe Street
Picture states, Queens Head Pub, with Information as 243 Rotherhithe Street.
Seeing Lacons Yarmouth on the sign I have my doubts about it being Rotherhithe Street. I now know that Lacons Brewery, roughly between the mid-1800s to the 1930s delivered to 27 pubs in London, so it could be right.
The Queen’s Head was on the corner with Pageant Stairs and Rotherhithe Street.

Re: Rotherhithe Street
I think the entrance is now in Beatson Walk.

These are the buildings from the Bermondsey Wall end. Not great quality, but the first is from 1963 and the second from 1930 which shows the flats to the south still standing. Even a campaign involving John Betjamen couldn't save Rotherhithe Street from London County Council's insane plans

Rotherhithe Street, Angel Pub at the junction with Cathay Street right c1963. The Tower of Prince’s Flour Mills is in the background. The next building along on the left from the pub is No.41 Rotherhithe St (opposite Fulford Street). The Angel was built around 1830.
THE ANGEL PUB, THAMESIDE.

Re: Rotherhithe Street
The wall was over two miles long, it follows the line of the old river wall built to contain the flooding from the Thames. This is looking towards Deptford.
Re: Rotherhithe Street
I think these two pictures are of Globe Wharf,
if I am right, St Pauls Avenue in the first picture is on the right.
In 1924 Globe Wharf was converted for storing and milling rice by Thames Rice Milling. If my memory serves me right Bamford Brothers lard factory was back along on the left. If this is wrong, please let me know and I will adjust post.

Repost from Albion Street, with a word of thanks to GSLondon for the correct information
“Rotherhithe Street close to its junction with Odessa Street, more or less opposite to the old Fitchetts pub (now demolished, along with the original Warden House and original Dockland Settlement”
