Grade II listed house at 148 Long Lane, Bermondsey, built in 1732. Used by J. Fogden general providers who had a shop next door selling fruit, tea, sugar, butter and margarine, c1935.
Josiah Fogden, who ran Spiller’s Mill & Bakery on Long Lane lived at number 146, (right) the townhouses twin property.
At that time, I assume it would have been above the shop.
