Always wondered what the baths looked like as we played on the bomb site that still had the baths full of water in the 60's as kids ,great playground.

Hi Ray,

Yes, that’s exactly how I remember it!
Judging by the chaps attire, I’d say that the picture was taken in the 60’s?
The last time I visited Stamps, was probably in the late 70’s… the crammed shop was dark, a bit chaotic and very dusty.
The shelves were loaded with old stock; by the late 70’s, I think it was mostly turned over to model railways.
They must have closed their doors for the last time in the early to mid 80’s.
