Hi, I’m new to this forum so I hope I do it correctly my names KEN NEAL I LIVED IN VARCOE RD NUMBER 43 IM 75 YEARS OLD.NOW I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE REMEMBERS THE FORESTER FAMILY WHO LIVED IN I THINK FAWCOME HOUSE JUST OFF DUNTON RD BERMONDSEY.I USED TO WORK WITH MICKY AND GEORGE AT DREADNAUGHTS WHO MADE FIRE PROOF DOORS AND SHUTTERS.I WOULD LOVE TO SPEAK TO MICKY OR GEORGE HOPEFULLY THEY ARE STILL ALIVE.WE HAD GREAT TIMES ON THE BOOZE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AND THEN ONTO THE HOLE IN THE WALL IN DUNTON RD FOR FAGGOTS A PEAS PUDDING WITH THE LOVELY ONION VINEGAR OR DOWN TO THE ROTHERHITHE TUNNEL TO GEORGES I THINK, FOR PIE AND MASH IN ALBION ST. THEM WE WOULD ALL JUMP INTO THIER CAR WHICH WAS A HUMBER SUPER SNIPE I THINK AND HEAD DOWN TO THE COAST.I FORGOT TO MENTION OUR OTHER TWO MATES LOU AND KNOCKER ? . AND IF YOU HAVE EVER SLEPT IN A CAR ALL NIGHT WITH FOUR OTHER BLOKES YOU WOULD REMEMBER THE SMELL IN THE MORNING IT WAS TERRIBLE. ONCE WE VENTURED DOWN TO CHEDDAR GORGE.WELL I THINK THAT I HAVE RAMBLED ON ENOUGH SO I WILL STOP NOW.JUST ONE THING I DEARLY HOPE THAT THEY ARE STILL ALIVE AND WILL TRY TO GET INTOUCH WITH ME PERSONALLY OR PERHAPS SOMEONE WHO MIGHT READ THIS ARTICLE AND PASS ON MY MESSAGE TO THEM. THESE DAYS I LIVE IN FOLKESTONE BUT HOPEFULLY WILL SOME BE MOVING NEARER TO LONDON AGAIN. BEST REGARDS TO ALL KEN.
