Pages Walk
Re: Pages Walk
Great picture Ray. I knew quite a few of them. I was in the same year but left when I was 15, surprised it did not contain Ken (Paperboy) Ripper.
Re: Pages Walk
I'm not sure of this, it is just something in the back of my mind so I could be wrong. I think Clive Place was down the side of the Vic pub.

Re: Pages Walk
It was, but access to it was down beside the other end of Clyde Buildings (the tall building in the centre - the photo is looking east towards Pages Walk). The name was actually Clove Place, but the original name was Pleasant Place - most apt, as it backed onto the large tannery. The houses were demolished as part of the Harold Estate development (Clyde Buildings were not).kiwi wrote:I'm not sure of this, it is just something in the back of my mind so I could be wrong. Re: Pages Walk
This is Guinness Buildings Pages Walk, I vagally remember Pat from way back then. Was in contact with Pat at one time, who then was also living in New Zealand, lost contact due to several things, one being a change of email, would be good to catch up.
