Hi,
I was brought up in Dockhead but left a long time ago - about 1970. At that time there was a pub on the south side of Jamaica Road, between Southwark Park Road and the Scout House. I used to go there with my Dad sometimes - I was in my late teens. Of course the pub like my Dad is long gone. I wonder if anyone can remember its name? Thanks in advance
John

Thanks both. A picture too! That's a memory.

It was also known as Boatman's, and in its latter days it was renamed 'The Boatman'. It has been demolished within the last couple of years and a block of flats built in its place.
