- The Halfway House, just a glimpse as to what it looked like.
The Half-Way House Tavern established 1835.
The Halfway House Pub was situated at 229 Rotherhithe New Road. It was formerly the booking hall of Southwark Park Station, this pub closed in 1967 and was previously known as The Railway Tavern. The Halfway House was later "open" as an illegal late-night drinking "club" as late as the 1990s, not sure if there was an entrance on this side.
