St Anne's Church
I lived in the vicarage in St Anne's Square between 1953 and 1959. My father was the Vicar of St Anne's. He died last year aged 100 and his name was eustace Smith. For 2 years I went to St Mary magdalena school which was adjacent to the crosse and Blackwell factory. I still remember the running eyes on pickling days. Teachers weremii melon and headteacher miss Harris. Is old age playing tricks or does anyone else remember the school. We moved out of London in July 1959 to lincolnshire due to my sisters ill health at the time.
