I was born in Scotland and moved to London in 1985 to seek fame (failed) and fortune (didn't do too badly here as I retired at 55).
I live on the north side of the river at Tower Hill and regularly run across Tower Bridge and through the streets of Bermondsey.
I spend my rainy days doing research for the London Picture Archive [https://www.londonpicturearchive.org.uk/] and have done a lot of research on images of the Bermondsey area frequently finding this forum when doing searches so I thought I should join.
Thank you to Steve who I believe started this forum and to everyone who has posted information and images which I have found invaluable in my research.
