My youth
I was born in 1944 in my nans flat my father was home from the war, we lived in flat 447 Guinness buildings I went to Web street school. I was six when we were moved to Harold Hill Romford Essex. I have some memories of the Victoria pub standing outside with a packet of crisps and my mum and dad were having a pint with their neighbors the Combers sadly I haven't many memories but have been back once but didn't recognise any of Pages Walk only the railway houses opposite sadly that is about all the memories I have.
