Re: BERMONDSEY CARNIVAL
Hello, this is my first post on here so please bear with me. I'm looking to see if anyone has pictures of 'Floral Car' which was a wagonette decorated by my great great uncle, Charles Mills for the Bermondsey Carnival in 1900. He owed the florist at 240 Southwark Park Road.
My great grandfather John George Terry is apparently in the photo dressed in a kilt. Sorry I don't have any other info than that, but if you can help or have any history to this event, then I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks

Hello,
I have got a copy of the Carnival Album and yes there is a picture of a young man in a kilt on page 31. The heading is FLORAL CAR Mr Mills, Southwark Park Road.
I will try to scan the photo and put it on this forum.
