Two Films about Peek Freans.
The first - THE OLD WAY'S
is rare footage of Peek Freans in 1906, that was found in 1956 in the strong room at Peeks.
This is a silent film and a very important find Thanks to Phil Burkett (Bermondseybeat) for sharing it with us.
The second film - THE NEW WAY'S
This is also important and is with sound and captures comments made in 1988 on the eve of the Factory closure.
Thanks to Phil. (Bermondseybeat) for donating both these Video's.

Thanks for uploading these bermondseyboy. For anyone who wants an original dvd of both films, you can get this from Sands Films in Rotherhithe for £7 plus P&P. Link to their website for mail order here.
I have copied a "home movie" taken in the factory on a VHS camcorder in 1988 showing people around the factory, changing rooms and at union/visitor meetings. I can send a disk for someone with a YouTube account (bermondseyboy?) to upload. Please PM me.
