Wow - there's a lot of faces to be identified. Required viewing for oneone that frequented that pub. (I didn't).

Great video - a real time-capsule and amazing to think most of those people will be in their 60's now. I should think most of the blokes will have a lot less hair now.

Even those that haven't gone bald!
Given that they were probably all slightly under age, that would make them about 56 to 58.

Yes never went to the pub without hearing the Moody Blues at the end of the evening. The opening night of the A&P had a DJ with double turntables playing Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams etc. Very upmarket with tables and chairs in the bar. This lasted a few days before the younger generation took over. Then you had to buy a crate of light ales and take outside as it took about and hour to get through to the bar and get a round in. I remember the pot man / bouncer as Frank who was there for years. Anyone remember him?
Great pubs close by were Teddy Haynes' Prince of Wales where you got locked in all night and the Lord Wellington. Does anybody remember the resident Friday night group 'The Shufflers Sound'. Believe the keyboard player was blind and they played a lot of Drifters music.

We used to use Teddy Haynes pub on Tuesdays, another pub with character, nice standing outside in the summer. Teddy always said that the pub was haunted, told us several stories about his experiences there, I guess they should come under another heading.
