Does anyone know what year this was recorded? early/mid 60's?

Think the pub might be the Queens Arms (on the corner of Paradise Street & Fulford Road) opposite St Peter & The Guardian Angels (RC church) where the christening was held.

I was married in St Peters & The Guardian Angels church ten years later (1975) by the priest Rev John McKenna. Not sure if that's him or not in the video as he would obviously have been 10 years younger, but the accent makes me think it might be.

Who remembers Park Buildings over the road?

That is Father McKenna. My two older brothers and myself were all altarboys there and I remember the mass for him when he died. I think there's a lane off St James's Road named after him.

Brilliant to see Paradise Street at the end of the final film - amazing how much the whole area has changed.

My Dad had still kept the newsletter from Father McKenna's mass when he died in September 1976. I remember the occasion well.

That was brilliant, I run the church club which is on the site of the old school dinner hall, I also served as an altar boy for Fr McKenna and so did my older Brother, we still have a picture of the old fella in the club along with a few other interesting Bermondsey pictures, the dinner hall is where my Brother told a teacher he couldn't eat his rhubarb because it made "his eye hurt".
