H.J. Enthoven & Co manufacturers of solder, printing type metal, battery components moved to London from Cornwall in 1869 and were at Upper Ordnance Wharf. Most of the tin and lead ores that they imported were smelted in London and they remained here until the 1980s and are now at Matlock in Derbyshire.

Anyone know who or what the warehouse was?

Approximate dates of its existence were from 1800 to 1887 and it would have stood to the right of the red buoy, just east of the junction with Fulford Street. Building shown is or was Braithwaite & Deans that stood at 41 Rotherhithe Street but now changed to Bermondsey Wall East.

QUEENS HOUSE CLUB, BETWEEN FULFORD STREET AND BRADDON STREET. In 1941, the local Bermondsey charity Time and Talents opened a branch registered at 53 Rotherhithe Street, operating under the Queens House name.

This lovely garden was the home of Arthur and Lylie Lupton. These are the neighbours that you would love to live next door to, nice if someone could provide a picture of the couple.
