SUMNER STREET

Wagstaff Buildings, Sumner Street, Bankside, c. 1920. I think this is a misprint and it should be Sumner Street. Wagstaff Buildings, was opposite Park Street and the Blue Pump pub was on the corner off Sumner Street and Great Guildford Street.

A 1931 view from the south showing the weatherboarded houses known as Wagstaff Buildings, off the south side of Sumner Street, with a young girl standing in the street and Miss Kate Francis in the doorway of number 4
