Come across this post card and I thought this might be of interest to someone. Not sure of the date but it could be from WW1, due to Vienna Road changing to Bevington Street in the early 1900s maybe after WW1? At one time Living at that address was a Mr William Alfred Buckland & Mrs Eleanor Ethel Lake (Buckland) probable husband & wife, not sure of the year.
It is signed Will, could this be for William? & did he call his wife Ena? This is just speculation on my part, Will could have been working away or on holiday when he sent the card, maybe someone can give us an answer?

Pictures of Bevington Street, from the film One Wish Too Many, all the people are actors. Decided to post these pictures here so we can see what Bevington Street looked like in 1956. More information in the FILMS/TV IN PLACES WE KNOW TOPIC…

The rear of Fountain House is on the left of the photo and the small building on the left is the electrical substation building. The front of this building can be seen in the above photo, to the right of Fountain House. The houses are the rear of the houses that front onto Bevington Street. I think this picture was taken from Llewellyn Street but posted here to tie in with the above photo.
