Skipton Street

Postby fosney » Tue Apr 11, 2017 10:21 am

Skipton Street was the first turning on the right after passing over The Elephant and Castle junction into London Road it was at a position where the Bakerloo Line entrance was and ran parallel to Newington Causeway.
The area has changed in recent years and Skipton Street no longer exists the area being part of a large building complex all that remains that I can remember is the underground station building and as I remember housed the South London Press office
