The Flying Dutchman was situated at 156 Wells Way,on corner with Southampton Way. This pub closed c.2013 and is now used as a community centre and arts venue.

This is where New Church Road emerged from. St. George's is no longer a church and has been turned into flats.

Passmore Edwards Library, Baths and Wash House, an early example of a ‘one-stop shop’, opened in 1903 on the corner of Wells Way and Neate Street. on land donated by the Rolls family.

Lynn AC Boxing Club building (formerly a public library and baths) on Wells Way. Lynn AC is Britain’s oldest continuing amateur club, formed in ‘The Sausage, Potato and Onions Café’ in Borough High Street in 1892. They moved to their current premises in 1981.

Never realised that is the Samuel Jones butterfly.

The Dining rooms where on the corner next to the Old Library Baths.The Kings Arms was on the opposite corner
Wells Way was called Wells Street.  Kings arm. P. H. Noakes & Co. near St. Georges bridge.  c.1915-1925.jpg
The King's Arms public house near St Georges Bridge on Surrey Canal. It seems likely that this pub was owned by P. H. Noakes and Co. c1915-25.

Neate Street no longer runs to Wells Way,coming from Trafalgar Road it stops at Coubourg Road, with Burgess Park in-between.
