SARD'S RENTS

Sard’s Rents was an alley that ran eastwards of Church Street, near the present Tower Bridge Road. Its site was eventually used to build the St. John's Estate on the eastern side of Tower Bridge Road, around 1937.

Sards Rents
It would seem that Sards Rents disappeared with the construction of Druid Street but Artillery Street seemed to have survived till the late 1940s, but again today the whole area has changed.
