TUSTIN STREET/BRIDSON STREET.

- Tustin St, ran between Old Kent Road & Manor Grove.

- 62-72 Tustin Street. Southwark, c1957, much clearer picture.
John Jesse Tustin (1815-1899), Tustin Street off the Old Kent Road was named after him this is where his colour factory was, this was demolished and a school and several tower blocks stand in an area named "Tustin Estate". The company was called Cory & Dr Horace Co. Ltd. Chemical Colour manufacturers, with a works off the Old Kent Road and Cory's Works, Grand Surrey Canal. (In 1900, the firm was valued at £100,000.)

I think this is looking towards the Old Kent Road, if so the Elephant & Castle Pub would have been at the far end on the left.

It's not Tustin Street, it's Ormside Street. The Regal can be seen on the other side of Old Kent Road. The tall building is The Rising Sun.

Run in a U, Tustin Street to Tustin Street.

- Bridson Street, Old Kent Road c1950, no longer there, replaced by Tustin Estate. X.
