Compasses Court off of Tower Bridge was one of two alleyways between Aberdour Street and Leroy Street (marked Green on the map)
The 1916 map shows three building between Aberdour Street and Compasses Court the third building now demolished was a pub The Three Compasses and stood on the right hand side of the alleyway.
Todays picture shows the two remaing building but the pub has been replaced by a modern building.
