Plough Way- Advert from the 1930s

Minetts Sawmills founded in 1887 by Thomas Minett. The sawmill was one of the oldest, if not the oldest trade sawmill in London. Both the sawmill and the adjacent school were hit by bombs on the first night of the Blitz.
Can anyone remember this sawmill and tell us when it finally closed?

A word of thanks to Michael O’Sullivan for this information.
In the picture of the VE day celebrations, my Aunt Lily is dressed as Charlie Chaplin near the back and my Cousin Albert Bartlett is in the front row next to the Queen, he is dressed as a black minstrel. I was told the young fellow in the fancy dress as Hitler became a comedian.
