The building on the right is The London Provision Exchange, was established here at the beginning of the 20th. It is now, as 9 Montague Close, below Glaziers Hall. At one time it was the Westminster Bank, later this was known as Bank Chambers.

Borough High Street, The George Inn taken in 1960, left Fred Martin (publican), Princess Margaret and the Bishop of Southwark Arthur Mervyn Stockwood. The George was rebuilt in 1676, after a devastating fire swept Southwark.

Laytons Court, Borough High St roughly where Little Dorritt Court and The Royal British Legion Building is today 2018. Was also the site of the Kings Bench Prison; it then became housing as seen here.

The newly completed Guys hospital tower is in the background. I think that the white building is John Harvard House corner of Queens Head Yard. :?:
