Hi abc, welcome to the site. Like your story and pictures, just trying to work out each road/street. Is that the Boatman Pub, Jamaica Road (formerly Royal George)? If so am I right in thinking its on the corner of Clarks Orchard? I know Paradise Street at one time emerged from there somewhere. Brunel Road being on right, Albion Street where the tipper lorry is coming from and heading into Lower Road (left), was the other side of the roundabout once called Culling Road? This would make Jamaica Road dead opposite. Hope I get at least one of these right, only it does add to the pictures.
