hi freddy, My Mum worked at Wyatts tin box factory for years. I remember her getting madeup to go on the yearly beano s . Her name was Dolly Ford . many times I remember her coming home from work with bandaged fingers because of cuts from the tins. Guy Leon used to give her a lift home from work most nights and I used to think they were having a affair, but she told me later in life they were just good friends.!!!! I think I have some photos of those Beano's I will see if I can sort them out.

Re: TANNER STREET.
Tanner Street 1976. Used to be known as Five Foot lane and contained the Brunswick, a pub that served the tanners of Bermondsey Leather market.
I now know this to be Brunswick Court looking towards Tanner Street, with Druid Street behind.

Tanner Street Bermondsey in 2017. Cockle & Co, seconded building on Left. Swan Court on left before small white building. The estate on the left at the far end I think was called Tanner House?
Re: TANNER STREET.
Tanner St Park - circa mid1930's, showing cricket cage and Kinross St behind. Kinross St was demolished c.1960 and the park was enlarged.”
