Tabard Street, Southwark, c1913, Sterry Street is on the right-hand side. The Royal Oak public house can be seen at 44 Tabard Street, corner with Nebraska Street and brushmakers R.D. Mead left, by the lampost at number 54.

Westcott Street ran of Tabard Street, Southwark. Chaucer School was formerly Westcott Street School.
Gone with Tabard Street but this may not be right? Picture states The Chaucer School c1894. There was also a Geoffrey Chaucer School in Southwark. If found to be wrong, I will adjust post.

Tabard Street, Southwark. Alex Reid & Sons pictured at numbers 281-283, painting and general brush manufactures (wholesale) and government & railway contractors. Bakery owned by James Goldsworthy partially pictured at 285. Men are gathered outside buildings with a cart loaded with boxes. These buildings no longer exist. Carlile House, a residential building, now occupies this site, c1914.
