Not demolished - being refurbished and will be part of London Bridge Station, a retail unit I should think, perhaps even a pub.

It's now a McDonald's.

Tower Bridge Magistrates Court and Police Station c2006, now The Dixon Hotel.
Tower Bridge Nick as we would call it in the 50s & 60s, boy does this bring back some memories. ;) I can remember a lady Magistrate there but just cannot remember her name. If you came up against her you were not going to get off lightly but looking back, she was probable right. Pity there is not more like her around today, instead of pussy footing around like they do now.

I remember the Tooley Street Police with a great passion! We lived in Abbey Buildings and one Sunday morning me and my mate found a handbag covered in glass, so we took it to Tooley Street Police Station to hand it in. The desk Sergeant and Constable must've been a bit bored as they took our fingerprints and photo's as potential suspects? We were only 8 years old! As they were laughing through this whole process we realised only then that they were having a laugh with us! They then gave us our fingerprint sheets and the photos (followed on later) as a reward for handing the bag in.
And then to top everything we were given a lift home in a white Police Jaguar that had red leather seats, always remembered that. Our mates, mums and dads were also waiting for us outside the flats and when we got home and we were treated like hero's!

I wonder if the Police would respond in the same way to kids in this day and age???
