MAZAWATTEE LANE.

Postby kiwi » Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:04 am

Mazawatee Lane, was near Ilderton Road. In 1901 they were the largest tea company in the world.
Mazawattee Lane, Mazawattee Tea, on the banks of Grand Surrey Canal. Roughly where the Juno Way Ind Estate is today, near the old Millwall Football Ground in Bermondsey. The factory was heavily bombed and largely destroyed in WW2, closed, or moved in or around 1953.
Mazawattee Lane is no longer there.
