New Dock Inn was at one time known as the 'Flea Pit'. From 1930 until the mid-1960's it was 'Jacks Cafe', dining rooms for lorry drivers and carmen, run by Jack Edwards. Had a few cuppas in there in the late 50s early 60s.

BLUE BELL also called BELL TAP original had the address of 12 St Marychurch Street but that was later changed to 1, Lower Road. Princess Victoria Pub is out of the picture right.

I understand that the fist picture is Mum & Dad with Daughter,1948. 2nd picture of Dad & Daughter 1973?, Maybe someone can provide us with more information regarding the people in the pictures.
On a personal note I am sure I know the man from picture 2, possibly from Beaches in Rouel Road?.
