Curtis Street, formerly Willow Street, now Curtis Way, ran from Willow walk to Kintore Street (c1900). Kintore Street is no longer there.

Curtis Street, named after William Curtis, the famous botanist who in 1770, established a garden between the Bricklayer’s Arms and Grange Road for botanical research.
