This pub was demolished c.1968 and replaced with a new building further down Long Lane. Left of pub in the 1950s was Weston Place with Pepin Place right, formerly Valentine Place.

Just one of the many entrances to W&R Jacob & Co. Ltd in 1988 who had various buildings in the immediate area. The view is looking towards Mill Street with Dockhead Fire Station behind the photographer.

MEADOW ROW.

Picture states pub in Meadow Road SE1, 1951. I could be wrong on this, but I cannot find any pub being in Meadow Road. I think the pub is the Hand in Hand in Meadow Row, Old Kent Road, just before it was rebuilt in the 1950s.? The new pub being demolished in c2013. Let me know if I am wrong. Meadow ...
