Newington workhouse built in 1850 at 182 Westmorland Road, was called Newington Lodge in 1930s.

The Shot Tower was in Old Shot Tower Wharf which was off Commercial Road and near to where Gabriel’s Wharf is today.

Lant Place now Sawyer Street. The pub is on the corner with Southwark Bridge Road and is now called Great Guns Social, formerly known as The Escape and the Goldsmiths Arms.
