A nice collection. Ancestors of mine lived in two of the houses in the pictures, and a distant relative by marriage in a third. But none lived at number 81.

Poupart's Farm, shown here in 1852 from Blue Anchor Lane, was located between Dunton Rd and St James's Rd and produced wheat, fruits and veg. Farming was extensive across Southwark before the 1900s. Location is spot on. The building on the corner had previously been a pub - the clue is the blank curved corner at first and second floor level that had carried the pub name and other signage. It was a beer house called The Railway Tavern.
