I am not sure if the numbers in the New Kent Road were changed over the years. If not then Ballard & Gilbert would have been the shop to the left of The Southern Armoury, (Cubix). Behind the shops in County Street at one time was a timber yard, so there is a possibility?? 1 New Kent Road 1937. X...
