- Alvey Street, c.1970, Namur Terrace right that ran around to Aylesbury Road. The shop on the corner was Rene & Tom's pie, saveloys and chips shop (no fish sold!).

- St George's Road, Elephant & Castle, c1950.The bus stop was between Pastor Street and Oswin Street. Pastor Street has now been shortened and no longer runs into St Georges Road. The pub on the left was the Gibralter.
