1906. I’m a bit confused with this picture, only that looks like the Trocette in the distance and if so, then the stalls are on the opposite side of the road from my time living there. So, could the building in the distance be Bells, Hills & Lucas or have I got this completely wrong. ??

The construction of the Rotherhithe road tunnel under the River Thames between Rotherhithe and Shadwell was begun in 1904 and completed in 1908. It was excavated using a Greathead-Moir shield.
