Ray, I met Shirley a few times over the years when I lived in Kent. She lived with her partner for years Lenny. She was Maggie and Timmy Fox's only child.

My mum worked for Peek Freans in the 50's as did my granddad (her father) I remember the broken biscuits. I also remember the Christmas Party for the workers children. My mum also worked at the Oxo factory.

I remember the doctors surgery near the Dun Cow Dr. Aldershaw. I used to go to the Astoria and Regal cinemas. Does anyone remember The Hole in the Wall pease pudding? I always went to Berts Pies and mash. The one in the Old Kent Road
