Hi Wendy I worked in a large office for Luxram Electric in the early 1980's. I think all the building were company offices in those days. I remember going to a few pubs in Tower Bridge road - all very changed these days !!

Hi I deleted all my Youtube video's last year due to "COPPA" and not knowing the rules. Since then Youtube have announced the rules which are concerning children. I'm still not 100% OK with downloading the movie again as children do appear in the movie - yes I know it was 1981. Kind regard...

I worked for Luxram Electric in Vine Lane (company bought out by Phillips Lighting) in the early 1980's before the complete rebuild of Tooley Street. Also saw Winston Churchills funeral procession down the Thames on the roof of Hays wharf in the 1960's.

Another Bermondsey football team to add is Caledonia FC - were around in I think the 1930's and once again in the late 1960's.

Ahh :) fond memories - In the 1960's I use to play football in Bombay Street with my best friend Derek Suggett who lived in Rock Grove. There was I think an old bomb site area at the Blue Anchor St. end in which we made fires and cooked spuds in silver paper we also let off fireworks in this area on...
