Fantastic picture Joe. It's lovely to see all these black and white photographs, so much more atmosphere than colour.

Re: Trocette/Super Cinema tower bridge road

It's rather nice how many of us have the same memories, Trocette, and Edwards. How did Edwards ever go out of business. , The best doughnuts in the world let alone the apple slice and other great things. Hop-along Cassidy and Roy Rogers, there must have been many others but I can't remember them eit...

Re: Trocette/Super Cinema tower bridge road

Hi Joe and Bermondseyboy.

I don't think I went to the picture club that often, sixpence was quite a lot of money, there was also lots to do on saturdays. I have to admit I'd forgoten about the promise, perhaps I got fed up with it and left. Those doughnuts at Edwards beckoned to.

Trocadero new kent road

Listening To Radio 3 the other day I was pleased to hear the Trocadero at the Elephant and Casle mentioned, not something you expect to hear on Radio 3. The topic was the Mighty Wurlitzer. After the Vandals went to work again and pulled down the old Cinema the organ went to South Bank University, It...
