A little about us.


  • This site is all about Bermondsey and the people that live/lived there.
  • It also includes surrounding areas such as Rotherhithe, Camberwell etc.
  • The site started in 2009 and has been rapidly growing ever since.
  • There is a vast amount of history, photos and video on site all contributed by the members to share their memories of Bermondsey.
  • A good place to start is by telling us a little about yourself and post it in "Members Short Stories"

The Do's and Don'ts


  • When and if you need to create a new topic please make sure it has not already been created by another member.
  • Use an appropriate title that represents what the topic is about, do not use titles such as "please read", "Hi" etc.
  • This is an open forum which means people of all ages can view it so please do not use bad language.
  • No advertising for profit
  • No links to advertising sites
  • No spamming
  • No racial remarks
